If I wanted to jump and commit suicide, the parking garages offer much easier ways to do it instead of the hotel rooms. The windows do not open all the way, which I am getting sick of with these casino hotels.

The rooms are kind of cramped, but you shouldn't be in the room long with so much to do. I was put in the central adult tower, which is nice since I do not want to spend vacation listening to people's kids screaming, slamming doors, and having running races down the hallways. Once you have seen the glitz, glamor, and lost your money in Vegas, come drive 2 hours and relax and win in Laughlin. Harrah's looks like one of the nicest places in Laughlin, and has nice amenities. It's also a great stop over location between the Grand Canyon and visiting California if traveling west on I-40.Īs a total rewards member, I was offered a three night stay comped at this facility. This was a great hotel if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the water for a few days. A lifeguard was on duty at the beach only. The Colorado River is extremely clean and safe to swim inside the roped area. There is a small outlet mall down the street. The Hoover Dam is about 1 1/2 hours away and is definitely worth the drive. There are some river tours that leave from the hotel and other properties and go to Lake Havasu, but we did not take one of those excursions. Also fishing tours are available at the public landing. A public boat landing and park are very close to the property. However if you have a boat or private jet skis, this is a good hotel to stay while playing on the river. There is not a lot to do in Laughlin or Bullhead City, so spending time at the pool and beach is the main event. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. There is a jet ski rental at the beach and a water taxi for $4 that travels down the river to other casino properties. There is a very large sundries shop that offers a variety of items. The rooms were large and extremely comfortable, however does not have a fridge, microwave or coffee pot. Hotel also has a very nice non-smoking casino section that includes some table games.

The family pool was completely shaded in the afternoon, but also had cover available during the sunniest and hottest parts of the day.

Hotel offers: a family tower, a family pool, adults only pool, beach on the Colorado River with chairs and umbrellas provided, McDonald's, Baskin Robbins, and Cinnabon, along with other hotel restaurants suitable for children. Even though it's a casino property, it caters to families and those who love being on the water.
